The Northeast Baptist Association is an association of 24 Southern Baptist Churches in the Northeastern high desert area of Nevada. Covering from the community of McDermitt on the Idaho/Oregon Border 242 miles southeast to Kingston Village and Austin. From the Rye Patch Reservoir on Interstate 80, 281 miles east to the Community of Wendover on the Utah Border and South 236 miles to the communities of Ely and Preston Nevada. An area of approximately 55,000 square miles. Almost half the size of the state of Nevada and larger than 27 of the states in the United States of America.
Its primary source of employment is mining, ranching, tourism and support of those industries.
Our churches vary in size from less than 10 members to the largest of 100 – 300. The average is less than 50 members and mostly in rural and small communities with populations less than 40,000 people.
At this year’s conference, we will explore the awesome correlation between the Old Testament tabernacle elements to the New Testament applications. This powerful weekend will impact how we view God and allow us to gain a deeper understanding of His desire to make our hearts His dwelling place.
